“A Privilege To Have Captured These Shots”- Leicestershire Photographer Humbled To See Virat Kohli Sharing Photos Clicked By Him

Virat Kohli scored a half-century for the Indian cricket team in their recently concluded tour match against Leicestershire county. Kohli scored 33 runs in the first innings and followed it up with a 67-run knock in the second innings. The right-handed batter seems to have regained his golden touch, and it looks like his 71st international century is not far away.

As has been the trend among the cricketers, after a match ends, they share their pictures from the match on social media and share their views on their performances. Virat Kohli did the same after the four-day match against Leicestershire as he shared three photos from the game and thanked the county for hosting the Indian team.

“Thank you, Leicester. Birmingham awaits,” wrote Virat on social media.

Professional photographer John Mallett quoted the tweet posted by Virat Kohli and said that the photos were clicked by him. He was humbled to see a player like Kohli sharing his images.

Hugely humbled that one of the world’s greatest players chose to use some of my images from the game with @leicsccc on his personal media accounts. A privilege to have been able to capture these shots. Thanks to VK & everyone @BCCI for your support,” wrote Mallett on Twitter.

Can Virat Kohli score his 71st international century in Birmingham?

The Indian cricket team will now travel to Birmingham to play the fifth rescheduled Test match against the England cricket team at Edgbaston. Last year, playing under the captaincy of Kohli, the Indian team took a 2-1 lead after four matches of the five-match series.

While Kohli is not the captain anymore, he will be keen to contribute his bit as a player and help the visitors win a Test series on English soil. Also, it will help the team in the ICC World Test Championship standings.
