Fans on Twitter react as New Zealand Cricket Team announces the squad for the T20I series against India. They were unhappy with the Black Caps naming the second-string squad and said that their Z team will tour India.

Mitchell Santer named captain as New Zealand announces squad for the T20I series against India 

India is all set to host New Zealand for a white-ball series. The two teams will play each other in the three-match ODI series from 18th January to 24th January followed by the T20I series, which is slated to take place from 27th January to 1st February.

New Zealand has named their squad for the T20I series. Mitchell Santner has been named as a skipper of the team whereas the likes of Kane Williamson and Tim Southee have been rested.

They have named uncapped left-arm swing bowler Ben Lister in their team which features the likes of newcomers in Henry Shipley and all-rounder Michael Rippon. While the rest of the team is pretty similar to what they fielded in the last series.
