Yesterday in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the emotions were running high as the CSK skipper MS Dhoni finished the game from a very crucial juncture to help CSK qualify to the IPL final with a victory against the last season’s runners-up Delhi Capitals.
While all the CSK fans present in the stadium were over the moon watching their skipper turn back the clock, there was a little girl in CSK jersey who just burst into tears as Dhoni finished the game with a four through square leg off Tom Curran.
MS Dhoni noticed the little girl after the game and gave her a signed ball
MS Dhoni, however, in a very nice gesture towards the little girl, gifted her a signed ball as he noticed her while he was out there to do the post-match interviews. The little girl who had come to watch the game alongside her mother and brother was extremely happy having got that priceless gift from her idol.

It was a roller coaster of a game for CSK fans in qualifier 1 because their performance with the ball in the first innings was a bit of a mixed bag. They bowled well in patches, but it was not a clinical bowling performance, and they lost the wicket of Faf du Plessis in the first over of the chase itself.
But, Robin Uthappa, who came out to bat at no. 3, showed tremendous temperament in a big game and brought all his experience to the fore. Uthappa, alongside Ruturaj Gaikwad, built a solid partnership for CSK and gave the platform to the middle and lower middle-order batters from where they could finish the game.
CSK seemed to lose the momentum a little bit in the middle phase of the innings with three quick wickets, but they held their nerves and the skipper Dhoni himself came out and did the finishing job towards the end. It was a complete roller coaster of emotions, not just for the little girl whom Dhoni gifted the signed ball, but also for the other CSK fans who saw their skipper stamp his authority on a run chase in a big game again.
