In what was another breathtaking innings, Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav set the stage on fire with his staggering innings against New Zealand in the second T20I at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui. The right-hander smashed unbeaten 111 runs and helped his side post a total of over 190 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav came to bat when India was tottering at 36/1. After that, he set the stage on fire and held one end. He didn’t get the desired support from the other end but he kept going and scored runs quickly for his side.

He took New Zealand pacers all over the park and smashed them all over the park. He reached his second T20I century in just 49 balls and smashed 11 fours and 7 sixes in his innings. Suryakumar batted with a strike rate of 217.65 and helped India post a total of 191 runs on the board.
