Mercedes Mone who was popularly known as Sasha Banks during her days in WWE, has been a rocking force in the world of pro-wrestling. Ever since her arrival in AEW, she has been doing a phenomenal job as well, particularly when Tony Khan has given her a free run.
However, there is one particular thing that Mone is not at all a fan of and that is wrestlers not smelling well. It goes without saying that while you are a part of a contact sport, sweat and stench is a common part of the same. Particularly after being in your wrestling gear which isn’t your normal wear, it is obviously an unstated fact that you would sweat and bad smell is just a part and parcel of the trade.
Mercedes Mone believes that wrestlers will have to let go of this entire gear thingy and really need to take up the fact of smelling good. Poor smell is a massive disliking for her and she is not accepting it no matter what.
Talking on Instragram, Mercedes Mone said, “Boy, have I smelled some funky, funky, nasty wrestlers before. You have legit people sweat in our mouths. Cause like I said, I’ve smelled a lot of boys before and I’m like, oh my God I can’t even give you a hug cause smell or I walk the other way because I know they don’t wash their gear. So my advice would be, wash your gear.”
There was a massive speculation about Mercedes Mone rejoining WWE for a while but then the company was not willing to walk a road that would see her getting a substantial hike of what she got in AEW. More importantly, Khan gave her complete creative freedom, a feat that WWE did with Hulk Hogan back in the day and Bray Wyatt to a certain extent.
