WWE NXT has dropped a vignette indicating the debut of a brand-new superstar as a part of their highly talented women’s division. The superstar set to make her first appearance under Shawn Michaels creative regime is Lyra Valkyria.

The vignette showed Lyra speaking in Gaelic and then English (an emphasis to her Irish roots) wandering in a forest. Furthermore, Lyra was dressed in black with black feathers, giving a hint on her upcoming gimmick in NXT.

Lyra Valkyria signed with the WWE back in 2020 under the ring name Aoife Valkyrie. She was a part of the NXT UK brand. Valkyria was regarded as one of the top female prospects down in WWE’s UK brand. She only had two losses during her NXT UK tenure-once at the hands of Jinny and other to Meiko Satomura.
