The IPL 2023 Mini Auction is scheduled to happen in Kochi next month, and before the big day, all the teams have announced the list of players who have been retained and released before the mini auction. Since it will be a small auction, almost all the team have decided to stick with the players who performed well in the previous season.
Even a few names who underperformed in IPL 2022 have managed to earn another contract from the same franchise ahead of the IPL 2023 Mini Auction. All the eyes were on Kolkata Knight Riders, Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore during the announcement time.
All three teams were active during the trade window. KKR took Lockie Ferguson and Rahmanullah Gurbaz from GT, while RCB traded out Jason Behrendroff to MI. There were a couple of other changes as well. Here’s a look at the full list of players retained and released by KKR, RCB and GT.
