“Last Night Was My Last Match”- LA Knight Says ‘Goodbye’ To WWE Fans After MITB Loss

LA Knight informed WWE fans in Cardiff that he would leave the company having lost the Money in the Bank ladder match in London on Saturday. He mentioned that he came out in front of the audience one last time because he wanted to feel the adrenaline rush just one more time.

Just after getting the WWE audience emotional, LA Knight tricked them by telling that this was what the fans would have expected from him but it was not what he planned to do. After tricking the audience, he said that he was the top guy in the professional wrestling industry and that all fans around the world have been singing his name.

In a video shared on Twitter by a fan attending the Cardiff live event, Knight said:

“Last night was my last match. If I was not coming out with that case, it was all over for me. I wanted to come out and feel this one more time in my gear, standing here in this ring, before I say goodbye.”

“Or at least that’s what they want me to say, so let me talk to ya,” he added and tricked the fans.

Is LA Knight leaving WWE like Ronda Rousey?

Rumors have been rife that Ronda Rousey will be leaving WWE soon after her feud with Shayna Baszler ends. It is unclear whether SummerSlam 2023 will be her last show, but Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer newsletter reported that Ronda has a hard out in her contract, and she will leave WWE before WrestleMania 40.

Fans were worried after watching the first half of Knight’s promo from the Cardiff live event. However, much to their happiness, Knight swerved them and confirmed he was not going anywhere. WWE Universe wants a feud between Knight and Logan Paul on the road to SummerSlam.
