Rahul Dravid was in quite a jolly mood while talking to the media a day before the second India Vs Pakistan game in the super 4 round of Asia Cup 2022. The Indian coach was seen being involved in a long interaction with Virat Kohli in the last practice session that India had on Saturday before their first super 4 games.
When Rahul Dravid came out to talk to the media after finishing his supervision of the practice session, the reporters asked him what he was telling Kohli during that long interaction that he had. Dravid jokingly said that there was nothing much in it and he was just asking Kohli what are the good places to eat in Dubai because Kohli knows about some good restaurants in Dubai.
Dravid, however, later spoke in a serious tone and said that he would never reveal any one-on-one conversation that he would have with any player on the Indian cricket team. Whatever conversation he has with the players will remain between him and the players only.
Rahul Dravid said, "the talk that happens between players and coaches, I will never say it to the media. We also talk about where the food is good. Virat Kohli knows alot of good places here. He keeps advising me to go there".

Even small contributions from Kohli will be beneficial for the team: Rahul Dravid
The coach, however, insisted that he is not worried about his form of Kohli because he is not looking at his recent stats at all. According to Dravid, with a player like Kohli, there is always a lot of talk about stats, but even if Kohli makes small contributions to the team and makes an impact during his presence at the crease, that will be beneficial for the team.
Rahul Dravid also said that the break that Kohli got before the Asia Cup seems to have helped him as he is looking in a fresher mood. Dravid further stated that he is hoping as a coach that Kohli goes on to have a great Asia Cup from here onwards, particularly when the tournament is in its business end now.
