Yuvraj Singh Dhesi is a Canadian Professional Wrestler who signed with WWE under the ring name Jinder Mahal (popularly known as Tiger) in the year 2010. He is currently assigned to WWE SmackDown brand. His nicknames are The Man of Peace and The Maharaja.
Growing up in a professional wrestling family Dhesi started his career of professional wrestling at the Marital Arts Fitness Centre in Calgary training with Rick Bognar.
When he signed with WWE development programme, that is in the year 2010 he didn’t possess any special qualities that would make him outshine among other wrestlers except for his ethnicity. His looks were as uncountable as other WWE hopefuls.
Dhesi’s achievements include winning six-pack challenge in Smackdown Live, he also won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship defeating Randy Orton, becoming the 50th recognized WWE Champion and the first of Indian descent, for which he held a Punjabi Celebration. He also won WWE 24/7 Championship twice.
The Maharaja had the title for 170 days which he lost against AK Styles. At WrestleMania 34 defeating Rusev he gained the United States Championship. He was traded to WWE RAW brand along with the United States Championship but sadly he lost the title against Jeff Hardy. Jinder had this title for 8 days.At the Greatest Royal rumble event he got the opportunity of receiving the title back but unfortunately, he lost.
Other than this, His achievements and accomplishments also include winning one-time All-Star Wrestling (ASW) tag team Championship and PWA Canadian tag team Championship with Gama Singh Jr.
