“I’ve broken my foot in a few places”- WWE star says he is ruled out of action for 6 months

Ever since the onset of the year 2024, WWE Superstars have recently been sidelined with injuries across all brands, RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. While some injuries have not been too serious, others have put superstars on the shelf for an extended period. Moreover, the latest addition to the injury list will be out for a long period of potentially six months.

The upcoming star from WWE NXT star, Javier Bernal has become the newest member to the injury list. He took to his Twitch to announce, with a heavy heart, that he suffered a broken foot that will put him on the sidelines for six months. The injury happened during a spot at the most recent tapings for NXT’s developmental program for new talent, Level Up.

Which WWE superstar has made it to the injury list?

Javier Bernal was teaming up with his partner, Drake Morreaux against the team of Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne of Chase University. Initially, he was told he would not need to go under the knife.

However, a visibly emotional Javier Bernal later confirmed that he would indeed undergo surgery and be away from WWE for the aforementioned timeline.

“I’ve broken my foot in a few places. It stinks. It is what it is. I found out two days ago that I broke it in a few places. Initially, I was told that I probably wasn’t going to need surgery but then, the next day, the MRI was a little cloudy and they looked at it, and it looks like I probably will have surgery on my foot. I was looking at six weeks with no surgery and, from what I understand, it’s looking like six months with surgery.”

With the array of injuries continuing in WWE, it is sad for them to lose their upcoming talent in Javier Bernal and also for Bernal himself to miss an important time that could have indeed levelled up his NXT career.
