Hockey World Cup 2023 is around the corner. The tournament will take place in India from 13th to 29th January 2023 at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela. The event will see 16 teams clashing with each other for the trophy.

Despite being the national sport of India, it’s fair to say that hockey hasn’t got the desired support and the players haven’t got enough backing from the fans. The entire focus has been on Cricket and football, with very few media outlets covering hockey.
