“It’s a four letter word and it starts with S,” Rahul Dravid hilariously refuses to use the word “sexy” in press conference ahead of India-Pakistan match

Rahul Dravid was talking to the media on the eve of the second India Vs Pakistan game in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022

The Indian head coach Rahul Dravid was addressing the pre-match press conference yesterday ahead of a huge India Vs Pakistan game which would be played in the Super 4 round of Asia Cup 2022 on Sunday. There was a very interesting segment in that press conference that left almost everyone in the conference hall laughing.

Rahul Dravid was actually asked about his opinion on the Pakistani fast bowlers and the speeds that they are able to bowl in the ongoing Asia Cup. Dravid, in reply to that, said that he has got a lot of respect for the new crop of Pakistan fast bowlers that has emerged, but he thinks India has also got very, very good bowlers who produce results for the team.

According to Dravid, if the speed gun is showing that someone is bowling 145 kph, that speed won’t be recorded in the bowling figures of the bowler. What will be recorded is how many runs he has conceded and how many wickets he has taken.

Rahul Dravid stopped and then said he couldn’t use the word he wanted to use

Dravid went on to state that the speeds that the Pakistani fast bowlers bowl at, might look…..and then he stopped for a little while. Dravid said he wanted to use a word that is in his mind, but he can’t use it on a public forum.

That made everyone wonder what word Dravid actually wanted to use and one of the reporters suggested if he wanted to use the word “exuberant”. But, Dravid said it’s not exuberant and the word that he wanted to use would start with S and it’s a 4-letter word.

Rahul Dravid finally concluded that India’s pace attack might not look as “glamorous” as the Pakistan pace attack because the Pakistan pace attack might be quicker, but India’s pace attack is also capable of delivering results and that’s all that matters.

I write a bit on cricket and I am more interested in technical and tactical side of the game, rather than bravado.
