The WWE’s women division saw another major addition to its established roster with the arrival of Emma. The former IMPACT Wrestling star made a huge comeback on SmackDown. This was another move under Triple H’s creative regime to bring back talented superstars released by the company earlier. Emma (real name Tenille Dashwood) made her debut in WWE NXT back in 2012. Her match with Paige in the developmental territory was highly regarded. Furthermore, many consider as the onset for the movement that became the Women’s Revolution. She then began teaming up with WWE Legend Santino Marella. Moreover, the later parts of her career saw her became a much more ruthless character and a force to be reckoned with.

However, Emma’s WWE aspirations came to a crash halt when she was released by the company in 2017. She then ventured to compete for various promotions on the independent circuit and Ring of Honor. Furthermore, her 3 year stint in IMPACT Wrestling was regarded as a career resurgence for her battling the likes of Mickie James, Masha Slamovich and Taylor Wilde.
