Is Brock Lesnar Leaving WWE?

It was a terrific showdown from Brock Lesnar at the SummerSlam despite the result going against him at the end of the day. He would literally bring out the heavy artillery in the form of a tractor that would mow down Roman Reigns and the ring alike. Post his show at SummerSlam, there have been questions about is Brock Lesnar leaving WWE.

However, as reported by the Fightful Select, the news isn’t as promising as one would want it to be. Going by the contract signed by Brock Lesnar, his indenture includes a clause of 8-12 matches that he would be participating in.

Going by the usual tenure of Brock Lesnar’s contracts, it is expected that his current contract would continue till Wrestlemania 39 in 2023. While talking to the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer would quote that the Beast Incarnate would usually be fighting in 8-12 matches as far as his contract goes.

WWE will be massively impacted if Brock Lesnar is leaving

Despite the current reports stating that we have probably seen the last of Lesnar and Reigns for a while now, there are contrary statements that highlights the fact that the match at SummerSlam that witnessed both the powerhouses of the industry going head on against each other can actually end up opening a new portal for the rivalry.

Theory tried and cashed his MITB contract while the game was on but all it took from Lesnar to silence the bantamweight contender was just one F5. One also needs to remember that Lesnar was tired beyond measure after piling so much torment on Roman Reigns and yet a rejuvenated Theory was absolutely no match for the two most reckoning juggernauts of the industry at the moment.

With Theory out of the equation, WWE may also explore another dimension to this feud by throwing Drew McIntyre in the mix. With the Scottish Warrior, reigning supreme in terms of popularity, this would turn into a thrilling Triple-threat affair, especially with the giants involved. As Lesnar’s contract continue, we may be standing at the verge of something very special.
