The Border-Gavaskar Trophy kick-started on a dominating note for Indian Cricket Team. It’s fair to say that the Nagpur game was the highlight of how they have performed at home over the last one decade. India thumped Australia by a massive margin of an inning and 132 and ended the game in just 3 days. A similar story continued in the Delhi Test as they rattled the opposition and won the game by 6 wickets to take a lead of 2-0 in the series. Indian team outclassed Australia in all three departments as they batted and bowled staggering well and made the opposition look clueless in Delhi Test. It was the brilliance of Indian spinners that was complimented well by batters as they retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Predicting the Indian Playing 11 for the third Test against Australia
The third game of the Test series between India and Australia will be played from 1st March to 5th in Indore. The game was earlier scheduled to take place in Dharamshala but due to the venue not being ready for the game, the game was shifted.
Talking about playing 11, India will likely continue the same combination but there might be a few changes. Skipper Rohit Sharma no doubt will open the innings for the team. He’s the leading run-scorer in the series so far and is expected to play a crucial role in the last two games as well.
KL Rahul yet again failed to set the stage on fire as he scored just 18 runs across the two innings in the second game and therefore it is expected that he will be replaced by Shubman Gill in the team. The youngster has been in fine form of late and scored a ton in the last game he played.

Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli did reasonably well in the second game but no chance stands to drop them from the team. They are expected to play a crucial role for the team in the next game. Shreyas Iyer was back in the team after nursing an injury and is likely to retain his place in the team at No.5.
KS Bharat will continue to keep the wickets. He batted decently in the second game and is likely to bat at No.6. The all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin and Axar Patel, who batted and bowled staggering well in the first game are also likely to retain their place in the third game.
The pace duo of Mohammed Siraj and Mohammad Shami, who chipped in with the ball at times in the second Test are expected to retain their place in the side.
