3 players RCB could use as Impact Player in IPL 2024

Royal Challengers Bangalore is one of the teams that did not make good use of the Impact Player rule in IPL 2023. The management appeared to have a lot of ideas and in the end, they did not make full use of the advantage. However, under Andy Flower, the team might want to make better use of the rule. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three players RCB could use as the Impact Player in IPL 2024.

1) Mahipal Lomror

RCB does not have a single left-hander in the Top 6. This could prove to be a disadvantage for the franchise. Hence, someone like Mahipal Lomror could get a few chances.

Last season, he had a few decent cameos in the middle. Mahipal can also be used as a spinner. He is a versatile player and has a good game against the spinners. Hence, he could be used as an Impact Player.

2) Manoj Bhandage

One player many RCB fans are excited about is Manoj Bhandage. Hailing from Karnataka, he is a lower-order batter and a very useful medium-pace bowler. Manoj is a left-handed batter.

Depending on how the first-choice options go, later in the tournament, Manoj could get a few chances. He is perfectly capable of using them, having done well for Karnataka in the T20 format in recent months.

3) Vyshak V

Vyshak V is one of the players RCB could use as an Impact Player in IPL 2024. The Karnataka pace bowler has been in good form in all formats of the game. He was recently awarded a fast bowling contract by BCCI.

Vyshak is someone who can mainly operate in the middle and the endovers. He has a few variations to trick the batters and can also hit the deck often. Plus, he can be a good lower-order batter. All these factors could have him function as an Impact Player.
