‘Who Are These Experts? We Don’t Pay Any Heed To The Outside Noises’-Rohit Sharma Hits Back To The Criticism Against Virat Kohli

Rohit Sharma, the captain of Team India, said that critics and experts were wrong to point fingers at former India captain Virat Kohli because of how bad he was with the bat. The 33-year-old scored 11 runs in the third Twenty20 International (T20I) match between England and India on Sunday.

Kohli got off to a great start when he hit a single to open his account. He then went after the English pacer, David Willey, and hit him for a four and a six. After that, though, his turn was over because he was caught at short cover. The Blue Men lost the third T20I by 17 runs, but they won the series 2-1 by winning the first two games.

We don’t pay attention to what people say about us: Rohit Sharma’s answer to his critics

In response to Virat Kohli’s criticism, Rohit Sharma said that the team doesn’t pay attention to what people outside are saying, and he also criticized the “so-called” experts. “It’s not hard at all for us because we don’t pay attention to noise from outside. Also, I don’t know who these experts are or why they’re called experts. I don’t understand.

They only know what’s going on outside the team; they don’t know what’s going on inside. We have a way of thinking about it, we make the team, we argue and talk about it, and we think about it a lot. We back the players we choose, and we give them chances. The outside world doesn’t know about it. So what happens within our team is more important to me,” he said at the press conference after the game.

Kohli has not been at his best. During the second T20I against England, the right-handed batter scored just one run. Before that, he didn’t have much fun during the rescheduled Test match against the Three Lions. Starting on July 12 in London, Team India will play England in a three-game ODI series. Kohli will want to do well in the 50-over series and try to score a hundred for the first time in a long time in an international setting.
