5 Instances RCB Twitter got trolled hilariously

Royal Challengers Bangalore started their IPL campaign on a winning note as they defeated the defending champions Mumbai Indians in the season opener at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. While people were celebrating RCB’s win on Twitter there were also people who were enjoying the tweets between RCB and PBKS on Twitter. RCB’s win took a back seat as they got trolled by PBKS on Twitter and that was the news of the day for Cricket Twitter.

This is not the first time when RCB’s Twitter handle has been trolled by other franchises’ Twitter handles. RCB anyway gets trolled by a lot of people on Twitter but they also get trolled by other franchises when there is banter or two between them. There are some really hilarious replies by other franchises which have left the fans in splits. So let us have a look at five instances when RCB Twitter got trolled hilariously

5. RR Tried to troll RCB for the Twitter Emoji

Just a few days before the IPL started, Twitter put up their emojis for each team which had the team jersey come up after their team’s name in the hashtag. There was a technical issue as the CSK jersey was coming up after the RCB team name. RCB tweeted to Twitter which said, “Hey Twitter India, looks like you need better tech engineers. Bengaluru is the right place to start hiring.”

When the schedule for the last IPL was announced, RCB’s Twitter Handle put out a tweet that had their team’s schedule against all other teams. While making that schedule, he used the old Rajasthan Royals Logo with the blue color. RR has changed its logo to pink color.

So, while replying to that tweet RR Twitter put up a hilarious post with a cartoon writing on a board many times – “I will use the correct logo of RR.” It was a hilarious response and all the fans enjoyed this banter between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore as RCB Twitter got trolled once again.

3. CSK troll RCB on Lion Picture

Chennai Super Kings have also done what other franchises have done time and again. CSK had trolled RCB Twitter for a post that had a photo of a Lion. RCB had posted two photos side by side on Twitter – On the left side there was Virat Kohli and on the right side there was a Lion and they had asked to spot a difference between these two photos as they couldn’t find any.

On that post, CSK replied with a tongue-in-cheek response as they posted a similar photo with another Lion which said – “Mum’s been crying all day. Where did you go? What have you done to the hair?!” All the CSK fans loved this banter as it ended in their favor.

2. CSK troll RCB on liquor shops battle

CSK trolled RCB twitter even when the IPL was not in. Last year when the liquor shops were allowed to open there was news that said that people in Bangalore are out at the shops to buy liquor in heavy numbers whereas in Chennai it has been banned. So the CSK Twitter came up with this response to troll RCB.

“So much chatter about Chennai competing with Bangalore vis-à-vis liquor sales. With the latest announcement, we are glad we lost that match even before it began, for battles in the present universe are more important.” They were happy that they lost this battle.

In the first game, Maxwell smashed a huge six against Krunal Pandya and RCB tweeted to PBKS saying, “First Maxi-mum in Red and Gold and he nearly hits it out of Chennai! Thank you @PunjabKingsIPL. We would hug you if not for social distancing”

PBKS came up with the best reply as they said, “Aww, and thank you for Gayle, KL, Mandy, Sarfaraz, Mayank.” Even on the day, they won the game they trolled on Twitter by another franchise. It was great banter as all the Cricket Fans enjoyed it, especially the PBKS comeback.
