IPL Mini Auction 2023: List of players released and Retained by CSK and Mumbai Indians

The IPL 2023 Auction is fast approaching, and before the big day, all the 10 teams have announced the list of players who have been retained and released ahead of the auction. All eyes were on five-time champions Mumbai Indians and four-time winners Chennai Super Kings today.

Both franchises are undergoing transition period right now. The Chennai Super Kings lost their star Indian batter Robin Uthappa, who announced his retirement from all formats of the sport. Uthappa has also started to work as a commentator in the English and Hindi languages now.

Meanwhile, earlier today, Mumbai Indians and Kieron Pollard issued a statement that the Caribbean all-rounder will retire from the Indian Premier League. Pollard will work as a batting coach for the Mumbai-based franchise, and he will play for the MI Emirates team in the UAE T20 league.
