Jos Buttler
Rajasthan Royals (RR) keeper-batter was the biggest disappointment this season. With the kind of dream season he had last year, where he scored over 800 runs, it was expected that he would set the stage on fire. But that w asn’t the case as he failed miserably and bagged five ducks this season. His poor for was one of the main reasons behind the team not qualifying for the playoffs. In the 14 games, he scored 392 runs at a poor average of 28.00.

Dinesh Karthik
Another player who did well in IPL 2022 but failed in this edition was none other than Royal Challengers Bangalore keeper-batter Dinesh Karthik. He was amongst the best batters in the league last year and his performances in the league last year saw him making a comeback in the Indian team as well. But this year he failed horribly and was consistently out for low scores. In the 13 innings, he just scored 140 runs at a poor average of 11.67.
