After Ashok Dinda urged social media users to use the platform in the right manner and spread positivity rather than negativity, Isuru Udana has come out in support of him by posting a story on his Instagram account.
Udana wrote that Dinda took more than 400 wickets in first class cricket which was no joke and he should be respected for what he achieved in his cricketing career.
Isuru Udana made his debut in IPL a couple of days ago
Dinda is someone who is always trolled by the fans whenever the IPL gets underway because of his high economy rate in the tournament over the years.
Dinda has an economy rate of 8.20 in the IPL which is a bit on the higher side, but he is not the only bowler who has gone for a lot of runs in the IPL. A lot of other bowlers have suffered too, but it’s only Dinda who gets trolled by the fans during every IPL season.
Dinda is more of a red ball bowler than a white ball bowler and his strength is to get the ball up and to swing it which worked fine for him in first class cricket, but because the white ball doesn’t swing a lot, he turned out to be expensive in the IPL.
Dinda doesn’t like the way the fans rate him as a cricketer just on the basis of his IPL performances. His performance in first class cricket is as good as anyone, but hardly anyone talks about. Everyone just seems to be talking about his IPL economy rate all the time.
As far as Udana is concerned, he himself made his debut in IPL a couple of days back for RCB in the game against Mumbai Indians. RCB fans had huge expectations with Udana, but he went at an economy rate of over 11 runs per over.
The left-arm pacer was asked to defend 19 runs in the final over of the game, but he went for two sixes and a four and the match went into the super over.
