Australian batter Usman Khawaja is wary of veteran Indian off-spinner R Ashwin ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. He said that the bowler is a gun and is very skilful as he uses his bagful of tricks so well.

India is all set to host Australia for the four-match Test series. The first game between the nations will be played on February 9th in Nagpur followed by the second Test to be played on 17th February in Delhi.
The third game between India and Australia is slated to take place on 1st March in Dharamshala whereas the last game will be played on 9th March in Ahmedabad.

Time and time again R Ashwin has proved his mettle. The premier off-spinners tally of more than 440 Test wickets in just 88 matches depicts the kind of impact he has in Test cricket. He is currently on 449 wickets and is the second-highest wicket-taker for India in the longest format of the game.
With conditions expected to be spin-friendly, Ashwin can prove to be the biggest threat to Australia. Even before the series has started, the off-spinner is in their minds as they have hired a young net bowler who possesses similar action to the spinner.
