India’s Warm Up Fixtures Dates, Timing And Live Tv Channel Details Announced For 2021 T20 WC

The Indian cricket team is scheduled to play two warm-up matches ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Super 12 stage. The International Cricket Council announced the schedule for the warm-up matches of the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup earlier today. There will be a total of eight matches in that round.

The eight members that have already qualified for the Super 12 stage will participate in this round. There will be four matches on October 18 and four games on October 20. All eight teams will be in action on both days. As has been the trend in ICC tournaments, the warm-up matches will take place between teams of opposite groups.

India’s Warm-Up Fixtures For ICC T20 World Cup

The round will begin on October 18. There will be two venues for this round – the Dubai International Cricket Stadium and the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The Indian cricket team will play both of its warm-up matches in Dubai. The first fixture is against the runners-up of the 2016 ICC T20 World Cup, England cricket team, on October 18. This match will start at 6:00 PM Local Time (7:30 PM IST).

The second match of the Indian cricket team is against the runners-up of the 2010 ICC T20 World Cup, Australian cricket team on October 20. This game is scheduled to happen in the afternoon, with a start time of 2:00 PM Local Time (3:30 PM IST).

When and where to watch India vs England and India vs Australia matches?

Although they are not a part of the main tournament, the matches between India vs. England and India vs. Australia promise to entertain the fans. Some of the greatest players in T20 cricket will be in action during this match. The Star Sports network has acquired the rights to telecast the entire ICC T20 World Cup, including the warm-up matches.

Thus, the matches of the Indian cricket team in the warm-up round will be telecasted on Star Sports channels. India’s first opponents in the T20 World Cup 2021, Pakistan, are scheduled to play their matches against defending T20 World Cup champions West Indies and the first-ever hosts of the event, South Africa.
