“Indian Cricket What’s Going On”- Twitter Reacts As Star Players Have A Hard Time In IPL 2022

The 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League is currently underway in Maharashtra, where the El Clasico battle of the season is happening tonight at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Five-time champions Mumbai Indians are locking horns with the defending champions Chennai Super Kings. While IPL is a platform for everyone to showcase their talents, the Indian cricket’s star players are having a tough time this season.

Most of the star players of Indian cricket, namely Ishan Kishan, Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Varun CV and Rishabh Pant have not been much impressive. Fans would hope that the players regain their form because this is a T20 World Cup year.

In tonight’s match between the Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings, Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma were expected to fire all cylinders. However, the right hand-left hand duo managed zero runs. Both were out for duck in the first over of the game bowled by Mukesh Choudhary.

Speaking to the host broadcasters before the match, Ishan Kishan was quoted as saying as follows:

“If we stay one step ahead of them in the game it will be very good for us. Sachin paaji just told me to be myself, the way people know Ishan Kishan as an attacking player and that there should be no fear of failure.”

Fans on Twitter react as Indian cricket team’s star players are yet to get going in IPL 2022

In the match between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants earlier this week, Virat Kohli lost his wicket for a duck. In the match between the Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings, Ravindra Jadeja dropped a couple of catches.

Here’s how the cricket fans on Twitter reacted after seeing the disappointing show from the star players of the Indian cricket team for their respective franchises in IPL 2022:
