While the first game was a thriller, the second encounter was a one-sided one. India won the game easily and with one match to go, the series is in the bag. The third ODI will happen at Indore on January 24th. Here, we look at the pitch report of Holkar Cricket Stadium and the weather conditions in Indore for IND vs NZ 2023.
Team India could make a few changes for the final match. Ishan Kishan might need a chance in the top-order and hence, Gill could get a rest. Similarly, in the bowling department, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj might be rested for Yuzvendra Chahal and Umran Malik. On the other hand, the Kiwis will be desperate to avoid a whitewash on Tuesday. The top-order batters must step up for them.

Since its first game in 2006, the Holkar Stadium in Indore has played host to a total of five ODI encounters. Indore is a cricket-savvy city and we can expect huge numbers on Tuesday at the venue.
Holkar has always been known to be a top batting track. In the current form, the Indian batters will be licking their lips thinking of batting here. The average score batting first here is 308 and if the batters can weather the initial phase, a score well beyond the average number is a possibility. Virender Sehwag once scored 219 runs on this track and it won’t be a surprise if we witness another double century here.
