Since its first game in 2006, the Holkar Stadium in Indore has played host to a total of five ODI encounters. Indore is a cricket-savvy city and we can expect huge numbers on Tuesday at the venue.
Holkar has always been known to be a top batting track. In the current form, the Indian batters will be licking their lips thinking of batting here. The average score batting first here is 308 and if the batters can weather the initial phase, a score well beyond the average number is a possibility. Virender Sehwag once scored 219 runs on this track and it won’t be a surprise if we witness another double century here.
