“I will BE THERE as a fan for sure”, John Cena reacts to WWE WrestleMania eyeing London as the next destination

The idea that WWE is going to spill over to London and that too with the grandest sports entertainment of all time, WrestleMania has left the fans in a fever pitch. It just hasn’t been the fans though, even wrestlers are buzzing about this move and the latest addition to this list is John Cena who expressed his admiration for this epic move from the Stamford-based company with a full-blown support tweet.

Cena announced that he will no longer be a part of the squared circle after his match at WrestleMania 2025 which will be happening in Las Vegas. One of the most decorated superstars of all time, John Cena was being hailed by the fans and they are willing to send a hero’s farewell to Cena.

WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H met with London mayor Sadiq Khan alongside WWE’s president, Nick Khan, trying to figure out how the city can play the instrumental hotbed for the 2026 WrestleMania. After the discussion, Nick Khan confirmed that there were lots of talks which were needed but as things stood, it had a positive trajectory going forward.

Here is what John Cena had to say about WWE eyeing London for WrestleMania

Hearing this news, John Cena took to X and posted, “The city of London, and all of the UK has supported WWE thru thick and thin. I try to minimize using the word “deserve” so I will use more appropriate terms. I’ve said it before and stand by it. In my mind London has EARNED a chance to host WrestleMania. I won’t get to compete when it happens but I will BE THERE as a fan for sure!”

Ever since Cena had announced his farewell, many other superstars have taken to social media to express their desire of having one last match with the leader of Cenation. The 16-time World Champion has been a reckoning force inside the Square Circle and now has been extensively working in Hollywood as well. One of the fan favourites of all time, Cena played the longest babyface in the history of the company.
