The Great Khali made his surprise return to WWE yesterday at the Superstar Spectacle live event in Hyderabad. He received a massive pop from the local crowd in India. Khali grabbed the mic and addressed the crowd in attendance.
While Khali has not wrestled a WWE match for a long time now, he made it clear that the ‘Tiger is still alive’ and that he will have at least one more match before he finally hangs up his boots. Khali is a former WWE World Champion, a Hall of Famer and enjoys a massive fan following in India.
A Twitter user shared the news on his account about Khali’s return and desire to have one more match. Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Zack Ryder, now known as Matt Cardona in the indies, took to Twitter and responded to the tweet as follows:

Fans on social media had mixed reactions to Cardona’s response. A fan wrote in the comments that Cardona should be the last opponent for WWE Hall of Famer Edge, while Omos should go one-on-one with Khali in his last match.
“He’s such a special person”- Natalya wants The Great Khali back in WWE
Former WWE women’s champion Natalya is a close friend of Khali. They even worked in storylines together on WWE TV back when Khali was an active member of the main roster. Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Natalya shared her views on Khali’s return and said:
“I would love for Khali to come back. He is a very good friend of mine. He is beloved in India and he’s also a WWE Hall of Famer. He’s so special. He’s such a special person.”

WWE will likely tour India next year for another live event. Perhaps, Khali can have his last match on that house show.
