“I Missed School To See You”- Young Fan Spotted With Special Banner For Virat Kohli During Practice Game In Leicester

A practice match between Leicestershire and Indian cricket team is currently underway in Leicester. For the first time since IPL 2022, the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Shubman Gill are in action for Team India. It is a practice game for the Indian team. Interestingly, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Washington Sundar are playing for Leicestershire in this game.

The Indian cricket team will lock horns with the England cricket team in a Test match that will decide the winner of their five-match series. India has a 2-1 lead right now, with the fifth game scheduled to happen from July 1 onwards in Birmingham.

To ensure that the Indian players are accustomed to the conditions in England, the BCCI planned a practice game for the Indian players in Leicester. The live streaming of this match is available on a YouTube channel named Foxes TV.

Nevertheless, Sony Sports seem to have a close eye on the contest as they shared a poster by one of the fans enjoying the practice game. “Virat sir you are the best. I missed school to see you,” the poster read.

Rajkumar Sharma recently commented on James Anderson vs Virat Kohli

The childhood coach of Virat Kohli, Rajkumar Sharma, recently shared his views on his disciple’s rivalry with James Anderson. Both players are among the best in the world, and it is exciting to see them compete. Here’s what Sharma had to say:

“A good player like Virat, who accepts challenges, becomes even more determined, that he will not get out to him. There has been a lot of change in Virat’s batting between 2014 and 2022, which he showed as well in 2018. He answered the questions about whether Virat can score runs in English conditions.”
