“I Liked One Thing In Particular”- Sachin Tendulkar Picks His Favorite Part From Virat Kohli’s Innings Against Gujarat Titans

Royal Challengers Bangalore star Virat Kohli made a roaring comeback to form in his team’s last match against the Gujarat Titans. Kohli played a match-winning knock of 73 runs off 54 deliveries and won the Man of the Match award. Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar dissected the innings played by Virat in his latest YouTube video.

Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli once played together for the Indian cricket team. Many fans initially thought that Kohli would be the person to break Sachin’s record of 100 international centuries. Kohli has 70 international hundreds to his name right now, but he has not scored a single ton since November 2019.

Even in the IPL, Kohli had a rough time in the middle as he either got out cheaply or scored runs at a slow strike rate. The innings against the Gujarat Titans were completely different. Fans witnessed a glimpse of the vintage Virat Kohli as he smashed eight fours and two maximums in his innings.

Virat took the initiative and he started attacking: Sachin Tendulkar

Giving his views on the 115-run opening partnership between Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis during the match against the Gujarat Titans, Sachin Tendulkar said on his YouTube channel:

“I liked the positive attitude shown by the Bangalore batters. Virat took the initiative and he started attacking. In this match, I liked one thing in particular, and that was the precision in his footwork and, as they say, showing the face of the bat. Both batters are fit, and their running between the wicket is brilliant.”

Virat Kohli has returned to form, but there is a question mark over the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s future in IPL 2022. If Mumbai Indians beat the Delhi Capitals tonight then the Bangalore-based franchise will make it to the next round of the tournament. It will be interesting to see what happens tonight.
