“I Have The Footage”- Thunder Rosa Makes Surprising Revelation About AEW Wrestler

Thunder Rosa returned to in-ring action recently after a lengthy break. Rosa had to take a break because of a back injury, which even threatened to end her pro wrestling career forever. This injury happened back in August 2022.

The AEW female Superstar worked hard to make her return to pro wrestling, and she finally came back on December 23, 2023, where she stepped inside the ring. Rosa teamed up with Abadon and defeated the duo of Julia Hart and Skye Blue in a tag team match.

Appearing on the Busted Open Radio podcast, Rosa made some interesting revelations about her return. She disclosed that AEW wrestler Kris Statlander played a big role in her recovery. Here’s what Rosa had to say;

“I can share this now. I can talk about it. Kris Statlander was the one who helped me with my first match when I got cleared. I have the footage and I was never able to put it out. Probably now I’m gonna at one point, put it on my YouTube.”

There are always talks of how the AEW wrestlers are not good friends in locker room. However, this incident just shows the opposite side of it.

In the same episode of the show, Thunder Rosa revealed that Kris Statlander had a similar injury in the past, which compelled her to take a long break. Hence, she knew the problems that Rosa would face before her first match back in the ring. Statlander volunteered to help her.

Rosa concluded by saying that Statlander volunteering to help her out was quite empowering for her. Explaining the reason behind it, Rosa added that she came to know there were women on the roster, who wanted her to get better.
