The Celtic Warrior Sheamus had been visibly large upon his return to WWE after eight months on the sidelines due to injury. But recently, he stated that he had dropped some pounds, in reference to his friend and fellow colleague. However, Sheamus’ comments triggered a response from another WWE superstar.
Sheamus recently took to his X account to state that he lost weight, while his friend, Drew McIntyre, could not lose “stupid.”
“I lost weight. He didn’t lose stupid.”
Which WWE Superstar responded to Sheamus’ weight loss comments?
The former WWE Champion’s comments in regard to Drew McIntyre pointed towards McIntyre’s obsession with his heated rival, CM Punk. The Best in the World recently cost McIntyre one of the biggest opportunities of his life. During the main event of WWE Clash at the Castle in Drew’s home country of Scotland, Punk intervened in the final moments led him to attack McIntyre, allowing Damian Priest to capitalize to retain his World Heavyweight Championship.
Drew McIntyre came on to this week’s edition of RAW to address the embarrassing loss. After trying to find the words to describe his feelings, McIntyre berated the WWE and seemingly quit the company in a shocking move.
On the other hand, Sheamus’ weight loss comments came under the notice of WWE superstar Baron Corbin who is currently enjoying his vacation in Europe. He took to his X to respond hilarious to Sheamus’ comments stating that he found what Sheamus lost and could not resist eating the delicacies of Italy and Spain.

Baron Corbin had a successful run in NXT and was drafted to SmackDown as part of the WWE Draft 2024. As for Sheamus, he has been a mainstay on RAW and recently took on the newcomer Bron Breakker. However, his possible victory was spoiled by Ludwig Kaisar with a potential rivalry on the horizon between the duo.
