Samoa Joe is excited for his reign as the AEW World Champion

Speaking immediately after capturing the AEW World Championship, Joe said that he was excited for the upcoming feuds with him being the champion. He mentioned that he cherished being a world champion of a promotion at this point in his career. Lastly, he also mentioned that he was looking forward to competing with the many talents present on the AEW roster.

Although MJF lost his AEW World Championship to Joe, MJF may not get an immediate rematch. The Devil Adam Cole has targeted MJF, and it seems like AEW fans will witness a full-fledged rivalry between Cole and MJF, who were former tag team champions together not long ago.
