Australia batter Marcus Harris lavished rich praise on England pacer James Anderson. He said that he’s the best bowler he has faced in his career and despite being 40 he’s still the best in the world.
James Anderson to play a crucial role in Ashes 2023
English pacer James Anderson is ageing like a fine wine. Even after the age of 40, he is one of the finest pacers going around in the world of cricket and is carrying a load of England’s bowling line-up in the longest format of the game even at such age.
Anderson’s on-field record speaks for itself as he is the leading wicket-taker in the test bowler for fast bowlers 685 wickets to his name. Apart from this, he has taken 32 five-wicket hauls and 3 ten-wicket hauls in the longest format of the game.
James Anderson is expected to play a huge role in the Ashes 2023 and will be a vital cog for England’s chances. The series between England and Australia is around the corner. The first match will begin from 16th June in Edgbaston, which will be followed by the second game on 28th June at Lord’s.
The third game will be played on July 6th in Leeds whereas the last two games are slated to take place on July 19th and July 27th at Manchester and the Oval respectively.
