Here Is The Reason Why Zelina Vega Replaced Elektra Lopez In WWE Faction Legado Del Fantasma

Elektra Lopez is no longer a part of the WWE faction named Legado Del Fantasma. The group debuted on the main roster last night on the season premiere episode of Friday night SmackDown. Surprisingly, Lopez was absent. Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Zelina Vega has replaced her.

Vega was on a hiatus from WWE TV because of injury. She has recovered to full fitness, changed her look and made a roaring comeback to Friday night SmackDown. Meanwhile, the other three members of Legado Del Fantasma, namely leader Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro have retained their respective positions.

The faction debuted on SmackDown, attacking Hit Row. Fans have received their debut well, and it will be interesting to see how they perform on the main roster.

According to Fightful Select, WWE made a last-minute call to drop Elektra Lopez from Legado Del Fantasma. Initially, the plan for Lopez was to make her SmackDown debut as well. However, just around 24 hours before the show, Zelina Vega took the position of Lopez.

It looks like WWE had no plans for Vega in the women’s division. Because of her past experience as a manager for Andrade and excellent mic skills, the creative team seems to have inserted her in a similar role again.

It looks like Legado Del Fantasma will have a rivalry with Hit Row on the main roster as well. However, Lopez will not be a part of the feud this time around.
