India and West Indies are currently involved in a five-match T20I series. The first game ended in a comfortable win for the Indians. Good in the T20 format, the hosts will be keen to bounce back. Ahead of the game, there was an important update. The match was set to start at 8 PM IST. However, it was pushed to 10 PM IST. Here, we take a look at the exact reason why India vs West Indies 2nd T20I will not start on time.
India vs West Indies 2nd T20I will not start on time
St Kitts is the venue for the second T20I game between India and West Indies. The connectivity to this place is limited and hence, there was a delay in the arrival of luggage of the cricketers. Hence, due to this reason, the timing of the match has been changed.
The Warner Park in St Kitts is a venue that has a maximum capacity of 8000. The place itself has a population of less than 50000 and if the stadium fills on Monday, it will mean that 1/5th of the population will be watching the game.
Due to delays in team luggage arriving into St Kitts from Trinidad, today’s #WIvIND T20I will have a delayed start

A tough challenge for the West Indies
West Indies gave India a good challenge in the ODI series. However, they were not able to win even a single encounter. That said, the T20 format is their forte and it was expected that they would do well in the shortest format of the game. They disappointed their fans with a dismal show in the first game.
It will be hard for the visitors to defeat India. While they have their own issues, India is looking well-balanced at the moment. Rohit Sharma is back to form and the bowlers are making it hard for the West Indian batters. Spinners have also been in terrific form, meaning it will be yet another tough challenge for the hosts.
