Why Jey Uso quit WWE has been the hottest topic of discussion in pro wrestling circles after last night’s episode of SmackDown. The former Bloodline member shockingly announced that he will no longer be a WWE Superstar during the episode.
At WWE SummerSlam 2023 last Saturday, Jey Uso unsuccessfully challenged for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns. It was a Tribal Combat match, and Jey took Roman to his limit before Jimmy Uso made a shocking return and cost his brother the match.
On this week’s Friday night SmackDown episode, Jimmy disclosed that he betrayed Jey because he was afraid that he would lose another brother to power. Jey soon lost it and attacked everyone that he could see.

He took down Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso before yelling at the cameras that he was out of Bloodline, SmackDown and even WWE.
Did Jey Uso really quit WWE?
No, Jey Uso has not quit WWE in real life. He is still listed as an active Superstar on the official website of WWE. It looks like the former tag team champion needs a time off in a kayfabe to understand everything that has happened in the last three years involving Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso and himself.
The reason why Jey Uso has quit WWE is because he will take some time off. He has been one of the most active Superstars of the company and needs a break as well. In his absence, Jimmy Uso might go after The Bloodline now, and when Jimmy needs help, Jey may cost him the match in a surprising fashion.
There’s nothing like a Bloodline segment…
This was just absolute CINEMA! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

The final plan of WWE will be Jimmy Uso vs Jey Uso at WrestleMania 40 with their father Rikishi as the special guest referee. Don’t be surprised if this feud gets slower and more intense as the time passes.
