Here Is The Reason Why Alexa Bliss Has Disappeared From WWE TV

Alexa Bliss has not appeared on WWE TV ever since she lost her RAW Women’s Championship match against Bianca Belair at Royal Rumble back in January. Bliss had an intense rivalry with Belair on the road to Royal Rumble, with Bray Wyatt also making his presence felt in the storyline.

Despite WWE trying their best to build Alexa Bliss as the strongest opponent that Bianca Belair has faced, a majority of the fans knew that the company would not book a title change this close to WrestleMania 39. The same thing happened as Bianca retained her RAW Women’s Championship in a decent match.

It looked like Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy would try to take Alexa Bliss under their control after her defeat. However, nothing important happened, and Bliss has been absent from TV since then.

Pro wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer stated in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Alexa has asked for another break from WWE. Hence, she has been on a hiatus since Royal Rumble and does not have a specified time frame for a return.

Alexa Bliss trashes reports of taking another hiatus from WWE

Anyone who follows Alexa on social media would know that the former RAW Women’s Champion does not enjoy traveling for live events regularly. Hence, she has taken breaks in the past, and thus the fans also believed Meltzer’s report.

However, Bliss trashed those rumors and wrote on Twitter that fans do not know the entire story. Here’s what she tweeted:

“Tired of seeing these tweets. I am not on a hiatus. They know where to find me. also need to remember – you only see what parts of life I want you to see.”

Bliss is unlikely to be a part of WrestleMania 39 on April 1 and 2. She could make her return to WWE on the RAW or SmackDown episode after the Showcase of Immortals.
