WWE Superstars LA Knight and The Miz are involved in an intense rivalry right now. The two WWE stars are set to take on each other at the Payback premium live event next Saturday. Ahead of the grand show, Knight took a shot at the Miz by referring to his wife, Maryse.
A few years ago, Maryse regularly appeared on WWE TV to help her husband The Miz achieve success in his matches. She played a big role in his legendary Intercontinental Championship run. Besides, she has also teamed up with him to take on tag teams like John Cena and Nikki Bella, and Edge and Beth Phoenix.

Speaking backstage after SmackDown on the SmackDown LowDown, Knight continued to take shots at the Miz and said:
“He talks about his wife. He always wants to brag about his wife, doesn’t he? I gotta tell you what man. I gotta hand it to you. It is a major accomplishment for you to have bagged her. Because here is the deal man. You got the appeal of a clogged toilet as far as I’m concerned.”
Will LA Knight beat The Miz at WWE Payback 2023?
LA Knight has received a solid push from WWE in the recent weeks. He won the Slim Jim Battle Royal at SummerSlam, and last week on Friday night SmackDown, Knight recorded the biggest win of his career by pinning former Universal Champion Finn Balor clean in the middle of the ring.

Considering how over he is with the fans, it should not be a surprise if Knight defeats The Miz clean at Payback this Saturday.
