“He Will Be Your Next Big Star”- Teddy Long Makes Bold Prediction For Popular WWE Superstar

Teddy Long has done Holla Holla at a new Playa and has picked him as the “next big star” of the company.

Teddy is a WWE legend from the early 2000s and best known for his stint as the SmackDown General Manager. He started his career as a referee and then became an onscreen authority figure (SmackDown and ECW GM). Long saw many breakout stars in his tenure and with experience recognizes a big star, when he sees one.

While on The Wrestling Time Machine with Bill Apter and Mac Davis, Long picked Logan Paul to be the “next big star” of WWE. He said, “Well, I think now he has to make a decision whether he wants to become a full-time wrestler or he wants to continue to stay in the reps field, you know, in the entertainment side, but I think if he decides that he wants to do this full-time, I think Logan Paul will be your next big star.”

This is big endorsement for The Maverick, who has literally started his wrestling career last year. He recently lost to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39, adding another loss to the list of all his losses. Paul is yet to have a taste of victory in WWE. As a part-timer, he only participates in marquee matches against top talent like Roman Reigns and his contemporaries.

Teddy Long had a great career in WWE

Long was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. He has made sporadic appearances in WWE over the years. He also has the distinction of being WWE’s first black referee.

Logan Paul has signed another contract with WWE till the next year after WrestleMania 39. There is no news of Paul’s next match in the company. Maybe Long can return as Logan’s manager when he competes in a tag team match or goes one-on-one with The Undertaker.
