Matthew Wade, who has struggled to make an impact in the Gujarat Titans’ colors, failed to make an impact this time as well. He looked in good touch as he smashed two fours and a six in his brief knock, but when he nicked a delivery from Glenn Maxwell onto his pads, the umpire ruled him out.
The Gujarat Titans star immediately asked for a review because he knew he had nicked it. However, the third umpire did not detect anything on the ultra edge. Since he did not have proper evidence, he did not overturn the decision.
