“He is lethal” – Twitter reacts after Rohit Sharma faces Jofra Archer in nets

The upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League is just five hours away from getting underway. Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Mumbai Indians in the tournament opener today in Ahmedabad.

Meanwhile, the players of the respective IPL teams have been giving it all in the nets to sort out their woes before the start of the IPL. It remains to be seen which team will brave the odds and win the title this time around.

Mumbai Indians have won five titles, more than any other team in the history of the competition. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings have won four IPL titles whereas Kolkata Knight Riders won two titles.

The likes of Rajasthan Royals, Deccan Chargers (now-defunct), Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans won a title each. RCB have made it to the finals on three occasions but failed to win any title in their journey.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians’ captain, Rohit Sharma made the headlines after he faced Jofra Archer in the nets ahead of the sixteenth edition of the Indian Premier League.

Rohit Sharma could be seen sweating it out in the nets. He was in terrible batting form in the last season and will be looking forward to doing well for the franchise in the next season.

Mumbai Indians will kick-start their IPL 2023 campaign on April 1 as they will play against Royal Challengers Bangalore at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In the previous campaign, Mumbai Indians failed to operate as a team and ended up paying the price.

Rohit Sharma and Co failed to qualify for the playoffs as they finished at the bottom of the points table. They were able to cross the victory line on four occasions but lost the rest of the ten games in the competition.
