In what has been a shocking development, Indian batter Prithvi Shaw’s friend’s car was attacked by 8 people after the Mumbai batter refused to take a selfie with 2 people.

The Mumbai police have registered FIR against those who were behind the attack and have booked 8 people. Shaw went for dinner with his friend, where fans came to him and asked for pictures. The cricketer obliged two people with a selfie.

But those unidentified people returned and again asked for pictures, to which Shaw refused. His friend called the restaurant manager, who asked them to leave the hotel.

However, this didn’t go well with them as when Shaw and his friend came out of the hotel after dinner, some people were standing outside the hotel with baseball bats and destroyed their car.

Talking about Shaw, he made a comeback into the Indian side after almost 1.5 years as he was selected for the Indian team for the series against New Zealand. He despite having a decent run in the domestic circuit was not getting selected. He last played for India in Sri Lanka in 2021. However, despite making it into the team he didn’t get a chance in the playing XI.
