Famous Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle recently named the two teams that would join the Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Super Giants in the playoffs of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. New teams GT and LSG have already secured a place in the next round, but there are five teams in the race for the remaining two spots in the Top 4.
At the moment, it seems like the Rajasthan Royals would take the third place, while one out of Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore will take the fourth position. In a recent video shared on his Twitter handle, Harsha Bhogle made his predictions for the Top 4.
Bhogle said that the Rajasthan Royals should defeat the defending champions Chennai Super Kings in their last league game and book a place in the Qualifier 1 match against the Gujarat Titans. He further added that the Delhi Capitals probably will get the better of five-time champions Mumbai Indians in their last league match.
So according to Harsha Bhogle, Royal Challengers Bangalore will not make it to the playoffs. He said that the four teams that will make it to the playoffs are GT, LSG, RR, and DC.
With #GT sealing the top spot this season, the race for the remaining 3 places looks like a race to the last league game.

RCB fans were angry after Harsha Bhogle did not name Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Top 4 along with GT and LSG
Royal Challengers Bangalore were naturally unhappy after Harsha Bhogle did not pick the Bangalore-based franchise in the Top 4 of the points table. One of the fans wrote that he is waiting to see the commentator’s reaction after Royal Challengers Bangalore makes it to the playoffs:
“Will enjoy your reaction if RCB qualifies,” wrote a fan. “Like #RCB as a team this year and had backed them to make the playoffs. This blog is about the possibility from here, not who I like or don’t,” Bhogle explained.
