The landscape of WWE’s developmental territory, NXT 2.0 (or simply now known as NXT) completely changed with the debut of an upcoming and dominating faction known as Toxic Attraction. The trio of the current recording-breaking NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose flanked by her allies Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.
Ever since the stable made their first steps in the land of NXT, they have taken over the entire division by storm, decimating every female athlete in the path and establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with.
The faction proved to be the rejuvenation for Mandy Rose after a lackluster run on the main roster and being recognized by the fans for her in-ring acumen and a huge launch pad for her teammates Dolin and Jayne. Who is Gigi Dolin?
Born as Priscilla Lee Kelly, Gigi Dolin was born into a family of Romanichal descent on June 5th, 1997 in the state of Georgia. She quit her schooling at the age of 12 and by the time she was 14, Priscilla was featured in the first season of the reality show My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding, being the prime focus of an episode titled, 14 and Looking for Mr. Right.
An interesting fact noted that she took inspiration from her past and her appearance on the aforementioned reality show to develop her wrestling gimmick, evolving it further to a more gothic tone, based on a succubus as seen on today’s WWE programming.
After being introduced to the world of professional wrestling by her younger brother, Gigi started her career on the independent circuit in 2015 wrestling for various promotions such as Suburban Fight, World Wrestling Network, Evolve and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling up until 2019. Other interesting facts relating to her stints before arriving in the WWE include defeating Male Superstar James Ellsworth to win the World Intergender Champion at Cactus League Wrestling’s “Rated R Wrestling” event in Arizona and even made a handful of appearances for WWE’s chief competitor, AEW.
She was announced as a participant for second edition of WWE’s Mae Young Classic tournament, losing in the first round match against Deonna Purrazo. In January 2021, she was officially signed by the WWE, making a handful of unnoticed appearances such teaming with Cora Jade for the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
It wasn’t until July of the same year that she became a part of Mandy Rose led faction, Toxic Attraction that the WWE Universe actually started to see the potential in the unorthodox Gypsy Princess and she proved her worth as a part of the stable, going on to become a two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside her other teammate Jacy Jayne. Most recently, the duo were also featured on the main roster as a part of the tournament for the vacant WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Apart from her professional life, Gigi Dolin married AEW Superstar Samuel Ratsch, more commonly known as Darby Allin in November 2018. However, the couple divorced in August 2020, but have chosen to maintain a healthy relationship as companions.
