Former WWE star, Matt Morgan teamed up with the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes and hammered away at AEW owner, Tony Khan after he made some dubious comments in All Elite Wrestling. The American Nightmare spilled the beans on the fact that he didn’t like the Young Bucks saying that Cody was the last EVP to sign a deal.
AEW was forged in 2019 but the initial idea came from the hallowed quartet of Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Nick and Matt Jackson during All In 2018. However, somehow the entire idea was discredited by Tony Khan and now he has taken it all on him about how the company was formed all by himself and the rest four had no contributions whatsoever.

On one of the latest episodes of Gigantic Pop podcast, Matt Morgan has underlined that Tony Khan has very selfishly tried to change the entire take, while attributing all the credit to himself while completely discrediting the others.
Here is what Matt Morgan had to say about Tony Khan
Morgan said, “He tries to change the narrative by saying, ‘Because a lot of people always thought that’s how that went but that’s not really how it goes like I’ve been wanting to do AEW. I went to the head of TNT six months before that,’ he said something like that. So he tried to change the narrative and get him in there a little bit more to the beginning of the genesis of AEW.”
He further added that there was a sold-out area in Chicago and every one wanted a piece of it. Everyone wanted to get hold of a ticket and it was a blockbuster showdown. That is when Tony Khan came in because he had money, but eventually AEW was never his brainchild. He finished with a sentence which said, “Get the hell outta here, Tony.”
