Rajasthan Royals have done well in the recent auctions. In the IPL 2024 Auctions, as well, they had a good outing. The management had some clear ideas and hence, they were able to nail almost all their targets. Some of their players are in good form and have good potential. They are playing in the SA20 League. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two Joburg Super Kings players who will play for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024.
1) Nandre Burger
Nandre Burger caught the eye of many Indian fans in the Test series which India played against South Africa. The left-arm pacer showed good attributes and was one of the better performers.
Even in the shorter formats, he has been doing well. He would be the direct backup for Trent Boult in Rajasthan. If Boult is not fit and wants rest, RR does not have many issues as Nandre Burger can be a direct replacement for the experienced Kiwi.
2) Donovan Ferreira
Donovan Ferreira is one of the Joburg Super Kings players who will play for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024. The wicket-keeper batter was with RR even last season. While he can play in the top-order, he is efficient and does well as a finisher, as well.
In IPL 2024, RR is sure to go with two overseas finishers. Shimron Hetmyer and Rovman Powell are the identified candidates. Donovan Ferreira would be a superb backup to have. While he is a good keeper, not many know that he can also bowl decent off-spin. This would help balance the side with an extra spin option. It is very likely that he would make his debut in IPL 2024. Since the English players would leave in the latter half, there could be a vacancy at the top of the order for RR. Ferreira would be the first choice to take that slot.
