“Please Save Manchester United”, Twitter Goes Wild As Elon Musk Says That He Is Buying Manchester United

Elon Musk, the richest person in the world was joking about politics and certainly dropped a bomb that would be everything but serious when he quoted that he would be buying Manchester United.

Musk’s tweeting history shows that he at times has been exceptionally cool and then there are occasions where he chose to cash in on certain opportunities that have sent ripples down the world only for him to clarify that it was nothing but a dig at tweeting something extraneous.

Here is what Elon Musk had to say about Manchester United

However, the Manchester United fans were elated beyond measure once Elon said that he would be buying the Reds after a shambolic decade that United has been going through ever since the departure of one of their most successful gaffers of all time, Sir Alex Ferguson.

Manchester’s situation has gone from bad to worse in the ongoing window where they slumped to two straight defeats as Brighton edged past them in a rusty affair in the opener while Brentford mocked them in an absolutely humiliating manner with the Devils running short of gas in the opening half itself.

As soon as United went 4 goals down in the second contest, it was another disgruntled evening for the travelling fans, expressing rage at the current owners of the club, the Glazers. The fans believe that if someone needs to be primarily blamed for the same situation, it has to be the Glazers whose minimal concern for the club is responsible for the woeful situation of the Devils.

In between the utter chaos, Musk was heard quoting that he was buying Manchester United and the tweet went viral in less than no time with 220000 likes on its platform. In fact, the tweet was preceded by a political quip but it hardly made sense to the people who were simply interested in the fact that he was interested in buying Manchester United.

The initial tweet from Musk read, “To be clear, I support the left half of the Republican Party and the right half of the Democratic Party!” He then followed it up with, “I’m buying Manchester United ur (sic) welcome”.

Twitter went crazy after Musk’s explosive tweet and hopes for the Tesla owner to work out wonders for the club, in case he is actually serious about this move.
