As per online reports, Brock Lesnar was furious backstage after Vince McMahon’s retirement and decided to walk out of SmackDown. He showed up on the episode later though and attacked Mr. Money in the Bank Theory.
According to a recent report by the Wrestling Observer, there was a huge panic situation backstage because of the walkout. Dave Meltzer also stated that there won’t be any big changes in WWE soon because of the investigation underway.
2. WWE Rumor Roundup features an update on The Rock buying WWE
A consortium led by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson bought XFL from Vince McMahon in 2020, which is why rumors have emerged claiming that the Brahma Bull could even buy WWE one day. Giving his views on that possibility, Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio:
“Dwayne himself does not have the money to buy WWE, nor does anyone, but could he go in there and round up capital? Can they all work together and buy this company together? That is an absolutely intriguing possibility.”
3. Max Dupri removed from SmackDown
Max Dupri had a brief run on the WWE main roster, but that's over. We have confirmed that Max is out.
Also, we were told that there is doubt that he was cut out for the main roster, and he "lacked people skills." Take that as you will.
